Katerina Delouca

Katerina Delouca holds a graduate degree in Archaeology and History of Art from the university Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne (France), where she further pursued a post-graduate degree (DEA) on the subject of mediaeval and underwater archaeology. Her interest in maritime graffiti began as she wrote her DEA dissertation, which focused on ship graffiti in the Byzantine and post-Byzantine churches of the island of Aegina. She has published several articles on this topic and participated in two research programmes about ship graffiti with the Hellenic Institute of Marine Archaeological Research (1994-1996) and the Maritime Archaeological Research Laboratory (MARELab) of the University of Cyprus.
