Department of Ottoman History Evita Dandali studied History and Archaeology at the University of Crete and received her MA degree in Ottoman History from the same university. As of October 2020 she participates as a PhD student in the research project “JANET – Janissaries in Ottoman Port-Cities: Muslim Financial and Political Networks in the Early Modern Mediterranean”.
